The Mixthesizer Custom is a fully customizable analog mixer designed for musicians and producers who work with synthesizers and analog instruments. It can be configured with up to 64 mono channels or 32 stereo channels, and supports 8 stereo auxiliaries. You can choose various units such as mono/stereo inputs, aux sends, and more to create the perfect setup for your needs.

The DB25 connection in the Mixthesizer Custom is used for faster and cleaner connectivity. This connector allows you to reduce cable clutter by using a single DB25 cable to carry multiple audio channels (usually 8 per cable). It’s perfect for professional setups where you need clean, organized cabling and rapid setup.

You can customize your Mixthesizer Custom by choosing various units, such as:

  • Quad Mono Input (MMT101)
  • Quad Stereo Input (MMT103)
  • Aux Sends for Mono or Stereo Synths (MMT107 M/S)
  • Quad Stereo Subgroups (MMT109)
  • Dual Master Stereo Aux Sends & Returns (MMT111)
  • Main & Sub Out with VU Meters (MMT115)

These units allow you to build your perfect configuration for studio or live performances.

All AUX sends in the Mixthesizer Custom are stereo and can operate in two different modes: L and L&R.

On mono channels:

  • L mode: the mono signal is sent to the L channel of the AUX send.
  • L&R mode: the mono signal is duplicated and sent to both L and R AUX channels.
  • Example: use a stereo effect with a mono synth.

On stereo channels:

  • L mode: stereo L+R signals are summed to mono and sent to the L AUX channel.
  • L&R mode: L and R channels are sent independently to AUX L and R.
  • Example: use a mono effect like a spring reverb with a stereo synth.

You can add up to 4 AUX units per input unit, giving you up to 8 sends per channel (each AUX unit provides AUX 1 and 2).

Depending on the number of AUX units used, you will also need return units:

  • 2 AUX units → 1 MMT111 return
  • 4 AUX units → 2 MMT111 returns
  • 6 AUX units → 3 MMT111 returns
  • 8 AUX units → 4 MMT111 returns

To route channel groups, you can add:

  • MMT109 – Quad stereo subgroup sender (added per channel unit)
  • MMT113 – Octal master subgroup receiver (needed in the master section)

You can choose to apply subgroups to mono channels, stereo channels, or both.

The Mixthesizer Custom supports mono and stereo inputs, aux sends, and direct outputs via DB25 connectors. We also provide DB25 to TRS adapters for flexible integration.
