Every channel is built around our exclusive Combo Audio Level Control system: a single rotary knob that electronically combines volume and gain into one smooth, musical response. As you push the level, the circuit introduces a natural touch of analog saturation and harmonic warmth — the sonic character that makes Live Tools sound like nothing else in its class.

▸ KEY FEATURES

Channel Section

  • Flexible channel configurations: all mono, or stereo pairs (5/6, 7/8...) via dedicated ST Link switch
  • In stereo mode, the even channel (e.g., 6) controls pair volume; the other channel should be set to minimum
  • Channels 1–2: Low Boost switch for kicks, basslines, and weak synth sources
  • Channels 3–4: Low Cut switch for cleaning up heavy sub frequencies from powerful bass synths
  • MUTE and PFL on every channel

Master Output

  • The MAIN knob controls both Master Out (TRS) and DI Out (XLR, if present) simultaneously
  • Master Out: balanced stereo TRS output for mixers, interfaces, PA systems, monitors
  • Utility Out: secondary independent output with dedicated volume — balanced TRS standard

PFL & Headphone

  • Dedicated headphone amplifier with 1/4" TRS output
  • MAIN/PFL switch: listen to the main mix or solo channels with PFL engaged
  • PFL Link: share one headphone pair between two Live Tools units or compatible mixers

Inputs

  • Each channel: 1/4" TRS jack or 3.5mm mini jack for Eurorack — one or the other, not both
  • External In stereo cascade: no dedicated volume, passes directly to master bus and isolator — designed for daisy-chaining a second Live Tools unit

  • Fully attenuate or boost each band for precise tonal sculpting, filter-style transitions, or live EQ control

  • Balanced stereo XLR output with custom audio transformer
  • Ground lift switches to resolve hum and ground loop issues instantly
  • Isolated signal at reduced level compared to Master Out — ideal for recording consoles or broadcast systems
