The Mixthesizer Live Tools is not just a mixer. It's the analog core of your live rig — a single, compact unit that replaces five separate devices and gives you the control, flexibility, and sound quality that a real performance demands.
Built around 8 fully analog mono channels, each one features our exclusive Combo Audio Level Control system: a single rotary knob that electronically combines volume and gain into one smooth, musical response. As you push the level, the circuit introduces a natural touch of analog saturation and harmonic warmth — the sonic character that makes Live Tools sound like nothing else in its class.
5 devices. One box.
8-channel analog mixer
Three flexible configurations: 8 mono, 6 mono + 1 stereo pair, or 4 mono + 2 stereo pairs. Channels 1–2 feature a Low Boost switch for kicks and basslines. Channels 3–4 have a Low Cut for cleaning up heavy sub frequencies. Channels 5–8 can be linked as stereo pairs via dedicated ST Link switches. Every channel has MUTE and PFL.
2-channel active DI box
High-grade custom audio transformers on the stereo balanced XLR output. Two ground lift switches to resolve hum and ground loop issues instantly — on stage or in the studio. Ideal for routing your mix to recording consoles or broadcast systems.
3-band master isolator (24 dB)
Premium RK27 rotary potentiometers on LOW, MID, and HIGH bands. Fully attenuate or boost each band for precise tonal sculpting, filter-style transitions, or live EQ control. Fully analog, smooth, and musical.
High-definition preamplifier
Captures the true character of your synthesizers, grooveboxes, and modular sources with no compromise in tone or dynamics.
Ground loop hum eliminator
Isolates your signal path from unwanted noise and interference — essential for complex live rigs with multiple power sources.
Channel configurations
8 mono
6 mono + 1 stereo pair
4 mono + 2 stereo pairs
Three simultaneous outputs
Master Out
Balanced TRS
Full stereo mix. For mixers, interfaces, PA systems, monitors.
DI Out
Balanced XLR
Transformer-isolated. For recording, long cable runs, broadcast.
Utility Out
Balanced TRS
Independent level control. For monitors, recorders, parallel paths.
PFL & headphone monitoring
Every channel routes to a dedicated PFL headphone amplifier. Switch between the main mix and pre-fader monitoring on individual channels — prepare your next sound without affecting the main output. The PFL Link feature lets you share one pair of headphones across two Live Tools units or any compatible mixer, ideal for multi-performer setups.
Inputs
Each channel offers a 1/4" TRS jack for standard line signals and a 3.5mm mini jack for direct Eurorack integration. The External In stereo cascade input lets you connect a second Live Tools or any external submixer — the signal routes directly through the master bus and 3-band isolator.
